About

Homelessness is a real problem for our city. Unsheltered people who are sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation (such as on the streets, under a bridge, in a car) is increasing and families with children are the fastest-growing segment of the homeless population.

On average, more than half of the Cincinnati homeless population is 35 years old or younger and due to COVID-19, we experienced reduced capacity in shelters. People are 3x as likely to die on the street vs. in shelter.

Lane House (Living Ambitiously in a Nurturing Environment) is a nonprofit corporation that offers a comprehensive system of care to help eradicate this reality. Lane House provides housing for homeless families by offering transitional and rapid rehousing services to end homelessness and promote stability through housing, mentoring, case-management, and life skills workshops.

Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.
